About Go Down, Death
In a small Southern town, a corrupt nightclub owner will do anything to protect his secrets and maintain control over the people around him. But when his schemes lead to betrayal and tragedy, he finds himself facing consequences far greater than he ever imagined. Inspired by the writings of James Weldon Johnson, Go Down, Death! is a powerful piece of early Black cinema exploring temptation, faith, guilt, redemption, and the struggle between good and evil.
